Athens Land Trust’s second annual Sustainable Agriculture Conference will be held February 9-10, 2018 at the Oconee County Civic Center in partnership with UGA Cooperative Extension and USDA agencies. This two-day conference will feature farm tours, inspiring stories, hands-on demonstrative workshops and networking with national agencies, local extension offices, and community partners. The Sustainable Agriculture Conference will offer the opportunity for new and beginning farmers, ranchers, foresters, agricultural producers, and landowners to learn more about farming skills and techniques, developing business plans, and land conservation and land equity issues.
