Having Fun at the Al Pless Memorial Bike Ride

On Saturday, April 27th, the Al Pless Memorial Bike was held to celebrate the life of Al Pless, who devoted much of his life to supporting the Athens Land Trust and who was a passionate cyclist. Riders showed their support by riding either a 61- or 38- mile loop through Clarke and Oglethorpe Counties. After the ride, participants were welcomed back to a party at Jittery Joe’s Roaster featuring catering from Barberitos. Thanks to the Foundation for Excellence in Public Education for providing the post-ride feast!
