The T.R.U.S.T. Initiative is made up of students, staff, and faculty at the University of Georgia and community members of Athens.

Our aim is to help create a community-based lending fund. This fund will provide low-interest loans to at risk communities who are vulnerable to rising property values and increasing development pressure.

Supporting this fund will make a difference for individuals and families and is a statement in support of the diversity and integrity of our communities. It may also serve to minimize the environmental damage of high impact development projects.

We invite you to join us in making a statement and a difference. The suggested contribution is the amount of your "Tax Relief for America's Workers" check. All contributions are welcome.

To Contribute:

1. Print this page and fill in the information below.
2. On the back of your Tax Relief check sign it and write "pay to the order of The Athens Land Trust" - or - Write a check payable to the Athens Land Trust. Write "True Relief" across the top .
3. Mail your contribution and the contribution form to: Athens Land Trust, 195 Park Ave, Athens, GA 30601 - or - Hand your contribution and the contribution form to a T.R.U.S.T. representative
4. If you would like to include a signed letter to Congress or the President with your thoughts on the Tax Relief program or to the Athens-Clarke County Commission about the Garden Springs situation, we'll send them in for you.
